Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Source and evaluate new suppliers to meet production requirements.
Issue purchase orders and manage delivery schedules for production materials.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
Collaborate with engineering and production to define material specifications.
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities within the supply chain.
Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice errors.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in procurement or buying within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for purchasing and inventory management.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost reduction and supply chain efficiency.
Bonus Qualifications
Understanding of manufacturing processes or engineering specifications
Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP)
Experience with advanced spend analysis tools or supplier performance management software
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
