As a ZumaSteward, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. You will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with general cleaning and organization tasks as needed.

Main Duties Your key responsibilities will include:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using dishwashing machines or by hand, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met

Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen and dining areas

Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures and schedules

Assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in kitchen and dining areas

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stocked and organized

Previous kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
