Help seniors remain independent in their own homes!

Do you love to help people in your community? The Volunteer Chore Program is looking for volunteers who assist seniors with regular housekeeping and organizing. Many of our clients struggle to keep their homes clean, so an hour of help is a huge support. Cleaning supplies are provided by clients. This opportunity is open to volunteers of all ages, as long as an adult is present. The program serves both Island and Whatcom counties and connects volunteers to low‑income older adults (60 and over) and adults with functional disabilities. The program serves as a community safety net for those who have limited access to other resources. Volunteer Responsibilities
