Kendal at Oberlin – Waitstaff
Kendal at Oberlin is a full-service life plan community serving older adults. The Dining Services team seeks caring, customer focused individuals for Waitstaff positions. Waitstaff serve residents and guests, assist with food preparation and sanitation, and support dining operations.
Responsibilities
Serve guests and resist to menu items and garnishes; answer questions.
Use proper serving and food handling techniques.
Replenish food and supplies throughout meal service.
Serve food and beverages to all customers using proper portions.
Set up all items needed for meal service before doors open.
Prepare coffee and hot water as needed throughout meal service.
Vacuum assigned areas of dining areas.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize tables, chairs and countertops.
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
Must have a cheerful demeanor.
Must have clean, neat work appearance.
Ability to lift weights of up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to stand and/or walk most of the shift.
Variable Day and Evening hours.
