Overview
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our engineering department and spearhead initiatives that transform our production capabilities. In this role, you will be a primary driver of operational efficiency, focusing on waste reduction and process optimization to ensure we remain an industry leader. You will analyze complex data sets and develop strategic roadmaps to overcome technical challenges in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
Job Details Location: Monmouth, Illinois
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $140,000 - 160,000 per year
Work Hours: 8am to 6pm
Education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities Engineering Design & Analysis
Create comprehensive engineering designs, material specifications, and detailed project cost projections.
Perform economic analyses and feasibility studies to validate the viability of proposed designs
Ensure all technical designs complyपन with industry standards and safety codes.
Validate field installations and maintain accurate "as‑built" documentation.
Review and approve technical submissions for accuracy and project alignment.
Project Execution & Coordination
Manage the execution of projects by providing clear direction to external contractors and vendors.
Synchronize project timelines between plant operations, suppliers, and construction teams.
Partner with management to integrate new designs and layouts into existing utility frameworks.
Assess the work of external consultants and recommend necessary technical adjustments.
Oversee the bidding process and manage contract administration for all project phases.
Planning & Reporting
Lead pre‑project planning phases, including scope definition and proposal evaluation.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project milestones and status.
Track project budgets and schedules meticulously to ensure installations meet all defined requirements.
Leadership & Development
Cultivate a productive work environment through active coaching and professional development of team members.
