Job Summary
As a member of our Engineering team, you will analyze data and design implementation plans to optimize production processes. Your goal is to maximize efficiency, eliminate waste, and reduce costs while maintaining high product standards. You will lead technical projects that transform food manufacturing operations, working both independently and in collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Develop Engineering Designs:
Create comprehensive engineering designs, material specifications, and project cost estimates.
Conduct Feasibility Research:
Perform studies and operational reviews to support design choices and project viability.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
Verify that all designs and installations meet required industry standards, national codes, and safety protocols.
Manage Project Lifecycles:
Define project scopes, prepare proposals, evaluate contractor bids, and manage contract administration.
Oversee On-Site Execution:
Direct vendors and contractors on equipment layout, utility requirements, and installation to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Maintain Technical Documentation:
Create and manage as‑built drawings, equipment manuals, specifications, and vendor records.
Control Project Budgets:
Manage multi‑million‑dollar project budgets to ensure all financial targets and efficiency goals are met.
Validate Field Work:
Monitor installations and conduct on‑site inspections to ensure work aligns with original specifications and timelines.
Provide Stakeholder Updates:
Deliver regular status reports to management regarding project progress, budget variances, and risks.
Collaborate Across Locations:
Work closely with plant teams and senior engineering leadership, requiring travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of engineering experience, ideally within food processing or manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and engineering economics.
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage large-scale, high-budget projects from conception to completion.
Communication:
Strong analytical reasoning and the ability to build professional relationships in a fast-paced environment.
