We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an IT Field Engineer based in Wilmington, DE with a local Managed Service Provider (MSP) that specializes in delivering top-tier IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. This role involves working with a variety of technologies, including Windows Server environments, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms, offering you the chance to support diverse clients and tackle unique technical challenges every day.

As an IT Field Engineer with this MSP, you’ll work on a wide range of projects, from troubleshooting desktops to deploying servers and configuring cloud solutions. They’re looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves variety. Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in IT support or field engineering

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals

Experience with desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral setup

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V)

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications

Ability to manage multiple client environments efficiently
