(New Orleans, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a
Draftsman with SolidWorks experience .
Essential Duties
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks based on engineering specifications and design requirements.
Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for manufacturing and fabrication.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Requirements / Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks for drafting and 3D modeling.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Prior drafting or design experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer.
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computer equipment and input devices.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
