Quality Control Technician
New Orleans: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a
Quality Control Technician
to support inspection and quality assurance operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of blueprint reading, and experience inspecting parts to meet tolerance and quality standards.
Essential Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts
Verify tolerances and measurements using appropriate inspection tools
Complete and maintain quality documentation and reports
Identify and communicate quality issues to production and engineering teams
Support continuous improvement and corrective action processes
Requirements/Skills
Previous experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or a related field
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding mechanical tolerances
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to complete quality reports and maintain documentation accurately
Technical aptitude and reliability
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods during inspections
Ability to lift and move materials or parts up to 25 lbs
Good hand-eye coordination for precision measurement tasks
