Job Description Duane Morris LLP seeks a construction associate to join its growing construction practice in its Philadelphia and/or New York office. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience drafting and negotiating design and construction agreements on behalf of owners and contractors on complex development projects, along with knowledge or understanding of insurance, bonding, risk mitigation, and lien law issues. The position will be mostly transactional but may involve construction litigation as well. Stellar academics and superior writing skills along with bar admission in jurisdiction of practice are required. An engineering, architect or construction management degree is desirable.
Compensation The target annual pay range for this role in New York City is $225,000-$320,000. Actual pay will vary depending on relevant experience, skill set, current business needs and market factors. The compensation range listed is just one component of Duane Morris' total compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages and firm-sponsored benefit programs.
