CNC Router Operator

Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm Architectural Surfaces
is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CNC Router Operator
to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC router equipment used in the fabrication of wood products. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision craftsmanship, works safely and efficiently, and contributes to high-quality custom production.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC router machines
Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
Work with custom parts and unique design specifications
Perform tool changes and adjust tool offsets to maintain accuracy and precision
Read and interpret blueprints and design drawings
Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate issues or concerns to the supervisor as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned to support team goals and production efficiency
Requirements
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
Basic computer skills
Experience with CNC routers strongly preferred
Experience with overarm routers, table routers, table saws, and miter saws preferred
Experience with CNC software such as woodWOP7 or similar programs strongly preferred
Ideal for someone who is:
Detail-oriented and takes pride in precision work
Comfortable working independently while supporting a team
Mechanically inclined and enjoys working with machinery
Adaptable and open to learning new techniques and technologies
Reliable, safety-focused, and quality-driven
