Robotics Engineer
Location: Dayton, OH
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Our client is an established systems integrator in Dayton, OH and are currently looking for a talented Robotics Engineer. This is a full-time/direct hire opening offering a great base salary with full benefits. You will have the opportunity to work for one of the largest equipment suppliers in the U.S. and you will join an experienced and proven team of engineers and technical professionals. Position Summary
This role involves designing robotic machine controls from concept through installation at the customer’s facility. The engineer will support system assembly, answer technical questions, program all system functions, and assist with onsite startup. Ideal Candidate
Organized, self-driven, customer-focused, able to travel across North America, and an excellent communicator. Key Duties
Develop industrial robot programs (FANUC required) Create clean-sheet and offline programs; debug and finalize code Perform I/O testing, including power, I/O, and safety circuits Troubleshoot network I/O, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Prepare bills of materials and support purchasing Commission and start up robotic systems at customer sites Write operation manuals and document equipment risk assessments Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience Associate’s degree or higher Robotic programming (FANUC; Motoman/ABB a plus) Ability to travel up to 25% in the U.S. Knowledge of industry safety standards and design practices Preferred Qualifications
