Role Overview The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing utility construction projects from planning through completion. This role manages project financials, reporting, scheduling coordination, and internal communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
The position is primarily office‑based in Fort‑Worth, with periodic field visits to support project execution, monitor progress, and address issues as needed. This role is well‑suited for experienced project managers with strong financial oversight skills who can manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced utility environment.
Core Responsibilities
Manage assigned utility construction projects to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives
Oversee project financials, including budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and month‑end reporting
Coordinate with internal departments, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective project execution
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership
Review project schedules, costs, and resource allocation to maintain performance targets
Conduct periodic field visits to monitor job progress and support issue resolution
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and records throughout the project lifecycle
Required Background
5 + years of prior Project Management experience within utilities, construction, or infrastructure environments
Strong experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasting, and reporting
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and clients
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Alternative backgrounds considered: Budget Manager or similar financial‑focused project roles
