The Jr. OCIP Administrator will administer and manage the program’s contractor requirements. Oversee coverage benefits, enrollment compliance and program requirements. Review all incoming enrollment forms. Follow up on contractor renewal certificates.
This is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA.
How you’ll make an impact
Manage the OCIP Concept, Program’s Contract Document(s), Program Coverages, and Underwriting procedures.
Attend Pre‑Bid, Pre‑Construction, and periodic progress meetings to educate contractors on coverage benefits, enrollment compliance, and program requirements.
Follow‑up with all contractors/subcontractors to ensure they comply with enrollment requirements prior to their job static date.
Review all incoming enrollment forms submitted by contractors working on SEWUP projects to verify the following:
Each contractor/subcontractor meets program’s minimum standards and eligibility requirements.
Submit a fully completed and accurate enrollment form.
Review enrollments for QA and follow‑up on any discrepancies or may need to request documentation to resolve discrepancy.
Obtain a certificate of insurance evidencing coverage for work performed off the SEWUP project site.
Once these requirements are satisfied, they are enrolled into the OCIP and the following is))

Collect and report payroll reports from each enrolled contractor to Workers’ Compensation carrier.
Follow‑up on Contract Completion Notices to monitor which contractors are working on SEWUP jobsite.
Conduct periodic QA audits of contact information and contract data that is entered in OCIP database.
Provide enrollment status reports monthly, as requested to client, CM, and/or General Contractor.
Follow‑up on contractor renewal certificates evidencing coverage or work performed off the SEWUP project site.
ProvideПравка program analysis of SEWUP coverage limits vs. contractor’s policy limits, premium costs, and total project loss ratio, upon request.
Must pull periodic loss run reports from insurance carriers’ database to monitor losses assigned to their project and provide claim status updates to the client.
Oversight of contractor qualification and project set up in OCIP database.
Other duties as assigned.
About You Required: High School diploma/equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.Preferred: Fire and Casualty Broker License or ability to obtain within one year of hire. Ability to work under deadlines, self-starter, and detail oriented. Working knowledge and continuous education in Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Builders Risk, Pollution, and Owners Protective Professional Indemnity (OPPI).
Behaviors: Exceptional organizational skills, Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
