Main Activities and Responsibilities The License & Retail roles include Offsite Retail Manager & Retail Venue Manager positions.
These positions are an essential part of the License & Retail structure for the FIFA World Cup 26™, responsible for delivering a seamless, safe, enjoyable, and accessible experience across all official FIFA offsite retail operations & stadium Retail operation.
Offsite Retail Manager
Retail Venue Manager
The role will be the key point of contact for all internal functions relating to licensing and the official retail operations including the Host City committee, Brand Protection and FIFA Commercial Affiliates (sponsors).
Offsite Retail Manager Key Details The Offsite Retail Manager will be a key member of the team delivering the FIFA World Cup 26™ Retail project. In close collaboration with the central operations team based in the Miami headquarters, the Offsite Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing all official FIFA retail operations in Houston apart from the stadium (this may include the official FIFA Fan Festival, airports, shopping malls and city landmarks). He will manage the day‑to‑day relationship with the appointed retail partners and will be integral in delivering operational retail excellence for the FIFA World Cup 26™.
Day to day management of the appointed official FWC26 retail partner including the development and execution of key operational timelines and deliverables
Ensure regular communication of FWC26 tournament information to all relevant internal and external Licensing and Retail stakeholders
Attend daily Venue Meetings in stadium during Tournament
Ensure FIFAStore match readiness at every Match Day for all nominated retail outlets at their venue
Ensure all FIFAStores are operating smoothly at optimum capacity with adequate staff numbers, product replenishment, POS system and management of queues
Provide any necessary status, sales reporting and analytics as and when required
Retail Venue Manager Key Details The Retail Venue Manager will be a key member of the team delivering the FIFA World Cup 26™ Onsite Retail project. In close collaboration with the central operations team based in the Miami headquarters, the Retail Venue Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Houston Stadium Retail operation. He will manage the day‑to‑day relationship with the appointed retail partner and will be integral in delivering operational retail excellence for the FIFA World Cup 26™.
Day to day management of the appointed official FWC26 retail partner including the development and execution of key operational timelines and deliverables
Ensure regular communication of FWC26 tournament information to all relevant internal and external Licensing and Retail stakeholders

Your Profile Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail, event retail operations, licensing, retail buying or account management
A self‑starter with excellent commercial acumen
A highly self‑motivated individual, good at negotiating, communication, problem‑solving, and with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with stakeholders across multiple time zones
Highly organized with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines, adapt to change and with a high attention to detail
Languages
Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
