Design Principal – Life Sciences
Haskell, a global network of integrated design, engineering, construction, and professional services, is seeking an experienced process architect to lead the newly created Life Sciences division.
Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional AEC teams to deliver innovative design solutions for life sciences clients, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, gene and cell therapies, and high‑purity active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
Develop and implement the Life Sciences division framework, building industry relationships and leveraging Haskell’s full‑service offerings.
Manage end‑to‑end project execution from concept through ribbon cutting, ensuring certainty of outcome and value to clients.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align division goals with Haskell’s strategic pillars, including “Provide Team Members the BEST Job of Their Lives.”
Champion the use of BIM, advanced design technologies, and innovative construction methods across life sciences projects.
Represent Haskell at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the firm as a leader in the life sciences market.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in architectural, engineering, or construction leadership roles within the life sciences or related high‑tech sectors.
Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to build and inspire cross‑functional teams.
Experience with life sciences product design, facility design, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and drive profitable growth.
