Broussard, Louisiana: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking Mechanics (Level 1-3) for a full‑time position with a confidential client to service and maintain equipment. This position involves hands‑on work with diesel and gasoline engines, electrical, hydraulic, air, and pump systems.
Essential Duties
Service and maintain equipment including air compressors, forklifts, vehicles, and other machinery.
Conduct repairs and maintenance both in‑shop and on‑site, including road calls when required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain and organize tools and equipment; own hand tools or be willing to invest as needed.
Operate in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to various types of equipment.
Requirements/Skills
Mechanic Level 1–2: 3–5 years of experience; knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines, electrical and hydraulic systems; willingness to work flexible schedules and on‑call duties; aptitude to learn oilfield coiled tubing and pumping equipment is a plus.
Mechanic Level 2: 5–10 years of experience; comprehensive knowledge of diesel/gasoline engines, electrical, hydraulic, air, and pump systems; experience with industrial machinery and equipment maintenance.
Mechanic Level 3: 8–10 years of experience; advanced knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems; experience with industrial diesel engines (Detroit, Cummins, Caterpillar, MTU), Allison transmissions, manual transmissions, and oilfield equipment; ability to R&R clutches and use diagnostic programs for diesel engines.
Physical Requirements
Heavy work classification; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
Long periods of sitting, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Push/pull while exerting manual force; repetitive motions and material handling.
Work outdoors and with moving equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
