Accounting Clerk Onsite in Del Mar, CA | Contract

A strategic advisory group in Del Mar is seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide short-term support. This role is ideal for a junior accountant with 23 years of experience in AP/AR who is detail-oriented and comfortable handling high-value transactions. The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, and requires someone available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP/AR processes
• Download and organize reports from accounting systems
• Support client accounting processes (no month-end close or financial statement prep required)
• Work closely with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and AP team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• 23 years of accounting experience (AP/AR focus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in QuickBooks; Yardi experience is a plus
• Comfortable with handling high-value transactions
• Reliable and adaptable, with a positive attitude toward team collaboration

Compensation & Details

• $2530/hr, depending on experience
• Fully onsite in Del Mar, CA (near the racetrack)
• Immediate start preferred
