Position: Customer Support Specialist (AP1) – NW Region Primary Location: Toledo BSVI/BVR, 5241 Southwyck Boulevard, Suite 200, Toledo, OH 43614 (Lima BSVI/BVR, 2190 Allentown Road, Lima, OH 45805 may also be used).
Work schedule: Full‑time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires in‑office presence five days a week and may require daytime travel within Ohio. Candidates must have own transportation or a valid driver’s license if operating a state vehicle.
Compensation Hourly rate:
$21.93 (subject to law or union contract). Advancement to subsequent steps occurs after six months and annually thereafter. Cost of living increases each year; longevity supplements begin after five years.
0–6 months: Step 1 – $21.93/hr ($45,614/yr)
6–18 months: Step 2 – $22.60/hr ($47,008/yr)
18–30 months: Step 3 – $22.96/hr ($47,757/yr)
30–42 months: Step 4 – $23.56/hr ($49,005/yr)
42–54 months: Step 5 – $24.16/hr ($50,253/yr)
54–66 months: Step 6 – $24.86/hr ($51,709/yr)
66+ months: Step 7 – $25.77/hr ($53,602/yr)

Responsibilities
Provide coverage for the office phone and front desk, responding to routine inquiries and maintaining sign‑in/out sheets.
Process, distribute, scan, and upload incoming mail; print and process outgoing mail.
Compose correspondence, send letters, request medical records, and assist participants in signing documents using technology.
Complete data entry and schedule intake meetings for applicants for OOD services.
Provide ongoing case support and programmatic assistance through correspondence, follow‑up calls, reminder calls, support OOD Hiring Events, and run reports.

One year of training or experience in secretarial science or business office applications, or equivalent education and/or experience.
