Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team, focusing on Plaintiff Wage & Hour Class Actions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in wage and hour disputes, ensuring their rights are protected and upheld in court.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct legal research and analysis related to wage and hour class actions
* Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
* Prepare for and participate in depositions and court hearings
* Develop case strategies and represent clients in litigation proceedings
* Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and strategies
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process
* Stay updated on relevant laws and legal trends in wage and hour litigation
* Assist in the discovery process and gather necessary evidence for cases
Qualifications
* Jurisdictional license to practice law and in good standing
* Experience in civil litigation, specifically in wage and hour cases
* Strong research and writing skills
* Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in drafting legal documents and motions
* Strong understanding of class action litigation processes
* Experience in depositions and court appearances
