Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $38.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
* Maintain compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
* Resolve payroll and time & attendance issues promptly and accurately.
* Process biweekly payroll and approve time-off balances.
* Run exception reports and review payroll system dashboards for accuracy.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products and payroll systems.
* Possess strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing practices.
* Apply regulatory requirements to payroll and HR operations effectively.
* Administer HR information systems to ensure reliable and accurate data.
* Communicate best practices for payroll and people operations to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in multi-state payroll processing.
* Show experience with UKG Pro, Kronos, or similar payroll platforms.
* Manage annual and quarterly tax filings with accuracy and compliance.
* Handle new employee tax setup from onboarding through first payroll cycle.
* Complete reporting tasks such as VOE requests, BLS reporting, and new hire documentation.
