Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Operational Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $38.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee the end-to-end process for both vendor payments and customer invoicing.
* Contribute to monthly financial close by preparing account reconciliations and recording journal entries.
* Provide support for payroll processing and client billing tasks as needed.
* Maintain adherence to internal accounting procedures and financial controls.
* Partner with senior accounting staff on ad hoc reporting and special initiatives.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with NetSuite is essential for this role.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable, with familiarity in receivables.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
* Strong organizational habits and clear, professional communication skills.
* Background in media, entertainment, or a comparable industry.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* At least 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
* A solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
