American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent med/surg experience in a hospital setting.
Job Details
- Work in a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Dedicated Education Unit in a hospital environment,
- Patient ratio is 5-6 patients per nurse,
- Assignment is for 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week,
- Patient population is mixed Medical/Surgical,
- No on-call requirement,
Job Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required,
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience,
- Experience in a level 1 trauma center or mid-large hospital required,
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred,
Additional Information
- RNs will provide direct care to med/surg patients and will not be responsible for education of staff or students,
- Positive attitude and timely performance are expected in this role,
