POSITION OVERVIEW:
To provide leadership in and coordination of instruction for Grade 1/2 students.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards across multiple subjects.
* Foster a love of learning through creative, age-appropriate activities and projects.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
* Assess student performance through a variety of evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and curriculum development.
* Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong knowledge of teaching methods and curriculum for Grades 1/2
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bilingual
