Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Shift: Day | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Night | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $65 - $70 per hour
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
* Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
* 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
* 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Education
* Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program (required)
Certifications & Licensure
* Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
* Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
* AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
* AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
* Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
* Initiate and maintain IV lines; perform phlebotomy as required
* Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation , ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards
* Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
* Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
* Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals
* Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as hospital policies and quality standards
