Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Tampa (Brandon area), FL (On-Site)
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
* The Staff Accountant will assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
* Prepare and post general ledger entries
* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
* The Staff Accountant will help generate financial reports for management review
* Assist with AP/AR functions as needed
* Participate in audits by providing supporting documentation
* Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or part-time roles welcome)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting team
