Title: Project Manager I
Location: Office Flexible (San Francisco Bay Area) or U.S. Remote

About the Role
The Impact team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Contract Project Manager for a 6-month engagement focused on the development of an annual Stakeholder Impact Report. This role will serve as the primary project manager and play a critical role in content creation, coordination, and delivery, ensuring the report is completed on time and accurately reflects the organization s impact.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and synthesizing large volumes of information into clear, engaging, and well-structured content.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
* Define, refine, and manage the overall project timeline for the annual report, including data collection, content development, internal reviews, design integration, and final publication.
* Establish and maintain an effective internal communication plan, providing regular project status updates or scorecards to key stakeholders (e.g., project sponsors and subject matter experts).
* Organize and manage a recurring cadence of task force meetings, including setting clear objectives, sharing agendas in advance, facilitating discussions, and documenting decisions, action items, and next steps.
* Coordinate data and content contributions from multiple internal teams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with reporting strategy and frameworks.
* Facilitate and document internal review and approval processes, including version control.
Content Creation & Review Support
* Deploy standardized content templates (e.g., section outlines and layouts) to streamline content submission.
* Review content submissions for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, working closely with internal subject matter experts to support validation and substantiation.
* Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, cohesion, and alignment with reporting objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications
* Experience: 3 5 years of experience in project management, technical writing, corporate communications, or a related field.
* Sustainability Reporting: Proven experience managing or contributing to an annual ESG, sustainability, or impact report.
* Content Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with experience translating complex data and topics into stakeholder-friendly content.
* Tools: Proficiency with Slack and Google Workspace.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders, remain composed in high-visibility situations, and drive projects to completion.
* Availability: Must be available for a full-time, 6-month contract.
