Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Contract Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position requires an individual who can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition. - Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. - Sweep and scrub floors. - Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. - Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Skills: - Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing machines. - Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness. - Good time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. - Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements: - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Must be reliable and punctual.
