Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Contract Dishwasher to join our team at our Richmond, VA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring that all kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and orderly.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain dishwashing machines - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition - Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas - Sweep or scrub floors - Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars - Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items - Good communication skills - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
