Facility Maintenance Mechanic
Position Overview
The Facility Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to sustain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
* Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Execute repairs on mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and conveyors.
* Repair and maintain drywall, flooring, and other building structures as required.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a facility maintenance mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
* Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Ability to perform drywall repair and other general maintenance tasks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
