We're seeking a Project Manager II (PM-II) to support our client by leading and managing all phases of project planning and execution. You'll manage a portfolio of low to moderate-risk projects focused on transmission grid interconnections, 3rd Party Reimbursable projects, and NC DOT initiatives . Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Project Teams : Provide leadership and coordination across internal and external teams; guide matrixed team members and resolve conflicts.
* Stakeholder Communication : Organize and lead meetings; deliver project updates and ensure compliance with PMCoE standards.
* Project Planning : Define scope, schedule, cost, and quality; develop procurement strategies and commissioning plans.
* Project Execution : Deliver projects within approved scope, cost, and schedule; manage risk, quality, safety, and closeout activities.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or (Associate's degree and 9 years PM experience in lieu of degree)
* 5+ years of Project Management experience
* Experience with transmission engineering and/or project management required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Utility Business Unit experience (regulated or commercial energy services)
* Knowledge of Construction Management
* Experience with Transmission Grid Planning and interconnection agreements
