Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. Key Responsibilities
* Manage all phases of litigation cases including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities
* Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
* Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings
* Prepare and strategize for trial, including organizing evidence and witness preparation
* Attend court hearings and trials, presenting arguments on behalf of clients
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements throughout the litigation process
* Maintain effective communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress and developments
* Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to build strong case strategies.
Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active Texas State bar license
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation
* Strong understanding of case management and trial preparation
* Excellent legal writing and research skills
* Proficient in contract law and regulatory compliance
* Demonstrated experience in negotiation and client representation
* Familiarity with court procedures and discovery processes
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
