* Oversee and direct emergency department activities during assigned shifts.
* Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
* Assist in determining work priorities, assessments, care planning, and coordination.
* Regularly perform direct patient care responsibilities as a Registered Nurse.
* Support the manager in staff development, operational efficiency, and leadership duties.
* Participate in marketing initiatives, community outreach, and leadership engagement.
* Provide guidance in resolving operational and patient care challenges.
Candidate requirements
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
* Current California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
* National Provider BLS Certification - American Heart Association (upon hire)
* Three (3) years of RN clinical experience in an acute care setting
* Six (6) months of recent clinical experience with mental health and wellness patients
Preferred:
* Master's Degree in Nursing
* LPS training coursework
* One (1) year of leadership experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting
