What You'll Do
As a Food Runner, you play a vital role in keeping service flowing smoothly and ensuring every dish reaches the guest with care and accuracy.
* Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining high presentation standards
* Support Servers and Kitchen teams to ensure a smooth, coordinated service
* Keep kitchen, server, and bus stations stocked, clean, and service-ready
* Clear and reset tables with proper silverware, glassware, and linens
* Assist with setup and breakdown of dining room and banquet events
* Communicate guest needs or concerns to Servers or Management promptly
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of side stations throughout service
* Contribute positively to a respectful, team-oriented work environment
* Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
* Knowledge of dining room operations and service procedures
* Strong work ethic with a genuine service mindset
* Ability to stay calm, focused, and organized in a fast-paced environment
* Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
* Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Professional appearance and positive, guest-focused demeanor
Education
* High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing for extended periods and performing frequent bending, lifting, and reaching. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally is required. Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position is based indoors, with time spent between the dining room and kitchen. The role may involve exposure to heat, steam, cleaning chemicals, and varying noise levels depending on service volume. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
