What you will do:
* Manage daily financial activities, including AP/AR, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger
* Assist CPA with creating accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Support month-end/year-end close processes and account reconciliations
* Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and liquidity management
* Oversee HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, benefits, and terminations
* Process biweekly payroll via ADP, ensuring compliance with deductions and garnishments
* Handle year-end tasks, including W-2s, 1099s, 401k reporting, and benefit renewals.
* Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring timely and accurate work
* Drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
* Collaborate with leadership on decision-making and strategic planning
* Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
* Oversee tax filings and develop tax strategies
* Coordinate internal/external audits and maintain strong internal controls
What you will need to be successful:
* 4-year degree in accounting or finance
