POSITIONSUMMARY:
Under the primary direction of EMG and oversight by the Office of theProvost, this position will manage and cultivate lead generation throughapplication streamlining the student experience to support successfulenrollment in online graduate nursing programs. The School of Nursing onlinegraduate programs are the focus of this position. There will be deep collaboration with EMG,the Office of the Provost and the School of Nursing. The Office of the Provost maintains thelargest budget which includes budgets in EMG and the SON.
Major areas of work include, butis not limited to, follows the lifecycle of the application process from theprospective student's initial request for program information, to thesuccessful completion of an application. Provides information to prospectivestudents for all online graduate degree programs, communicates regularly withprospective students, and assists applicants throughout the application processby ensuring all materials have been received. Collaborates with administration,faculty, staff, students, and applicants to foster innovation and efficiencythroughout the recruitment and application processes. The Enrollment Application Specialist is responsible forguiding prospective students through the enrollment process, from initialinquiry to registration completion. This role requires effective communicationskills, customer service orientation, and the ability to connect withprospective students to understand their unique needs and goals. Tasks willinclude, but are not limited to, ensuring all necessary documentation iscollected and processed, conducting in person and virtual tours and informationsessions, tracking student interactions, and maintaining active and extensivecommunication with prospective students through various channels includingphone, email, chat, and SMS.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Entersinquiry and application data, scans and indexes confidential materials throughthe systems, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of all data entryinformation processed for graduate admissions. Coordinates the receipt andreview of academic credentials for graduate and undergraduate admissionapplicants.
Assists with the optimization andadministration of the enrollment systems, including, but not limited to TechnolutionsSlate and Ellucian Banner.
Liaison with GraduateAdmissions for the Enrollment Operations and Student Services department.Researches and resolves graduate processing issues within Slate.
Provides assistance withinquiry and application data entry and related tasks for undergraduateadmissions and financial aid. Supports operational and processing effectivenessfor the entire enrollment division (Undergraduate Admissions, GraduateAdmissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Marketing and Communications, Militaryand Veterans Services)
Helps manage and administer system requests on a dailybasis for all aspects of enrollment management.
Participatesin special admission events, such as DUQ days and Accepted Student Days.
Performsother related duties as assigned to support the functions of a dynamic, team-orientedenvironment.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma
1-3 years of work-related experience.
Knowledge of PC and Microsoft OfficeSoftware.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree in business or related field from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with Slate and Banner preferred.
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
