Doraville, Ga About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. This position is ideal for an experienced Staff Accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do as a Staff Accountant
* Prepare and post journal entries for the general ledger.
* Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Review and generate financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
* Approve accounts payable invoices using the company's approval system.
* Process voided checks/invoices and assist with payment adjustments.
* Initiate and manage wire transfers via the bank's online platform.
* Assist with annual budget preparation and weekly operating forecasts.
* Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
* Identify and implement process improvements in assigned areas.
* Handle additional accounting projects as needed.
What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
* 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
* Advanced Excel Proficiency.
