Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Ohio requiring a compact or OH RN license and strong IV and critical care skills.

Job Details

- Position is in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU),

- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week,

- Patient population includes those requiring CPAP/BiPAP and medication titration,

- May be required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity,

- Uses Epic EMR for documentation,

Job Requirements

- Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,

- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience,

- BLS, ACLS, and IV certification required,

- Proficiency in IV starts and general nursing skills,

- Experience with Epic EMR required,

- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program,

- At least 2 professional references required, with 1 from a manager or formal leader,

- Former employees eligible if away from facility for 6 months or more,

- Current Ohio State University hospital employees are not eligible,

Additional Information

- Responsibilities include CPAP/BiPAP management, medication titration, IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, and patient education,

- Must be flexible and able to work every other weekend as required,

- Charge-capable travelers preferred for night shifts,

- Strict deadlines and urgency around Ohio fingerprinting process for onboarding,

- No time off is allowed between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26,

- Local candidates accepted at the same rate,
