Job Opening: Administrative Services Assistant
Location: 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CST

Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Administrative Services Assistant will be responsible for relieving an executive of routine administrative tasks. This includes performing clerical duties, serving as a liaison, managing correspondence, and attending various meetings and events. The Assistant will also handle travel arrangements, office supply orders, and assist with supervising clerical staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing routine correspondence, including composition of replies.
* Acting as a liaison between the executive's office and other government offices, departments, and community organizations.
* Attending legislative functions, receptions, and other gatherings.
* Assisting in the preparation of speeches and staff meeting materials.
* Supervising and evaluating assigned clerical staff.
* Handling travel arrangements and expense accounts.
* Ordering office supplies and operating standard office equipment.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
* Relevant full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional experience may substitute for education, on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of four years).
