Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its leading Insurance Coverage Practice . This partnership-track opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate who is eager to handle sophisticated insurance coverage matters and litigation, while working closely with policyholders and insurers across a wide range of industries.
Candidate Profile
* JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record ( Class Years 2020-2022 )
* Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts , in good standing
* Candidates who intend to relocate and are willing to gain admission within the first year of employment are also welcome to apply
* 3-5 years of substantive insurance coverage experience, preferably representing policyholders or insurers
* Litigation experience , with familiarity in first- and third-party insurance policies and insurance policy interpretation
* Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills, with demonstrated initiative and leadership ability
* Professionalism: Client-service oriented, collaborative, and committed to excellence; eagerness to engage in pro bono matters
Key Responsibilities
* Represent policyholders and insurers in complex insurance coverage matters , including litigation and arbitration
* Draft , analyze , and interpret first - and third - party insurance policies and related agreements
* Provide clear and strategic legal advice to clients on a variety of insurance coverage issues
* Handle motion practice , discovery , and trial preparation for litigated matters
* Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
* Engage in direct client communication, offering practical and business-focused guidance

Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to start at $260,000-$365,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
* Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
