Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $46.00 to $56.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
* Supervise accounting staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
* Review and approve journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, offering financial insights to support strategic decisions.
* Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and support audits.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Navision is highly beneficial.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial analysis.
* Background in food, manufacturing, or agricultural industries.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Prior experience managing international operations or multi-entity environments.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
* CPA certification, multilingual abilities, and ERP implementation experience.
