Travel RN - Med/Surg - Bone Marrow Transplant/BMT

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit, requiring BMT ICU experience and ACLS certification.

Job Details

- Work in a hospital Bone Marrow Transplant unit with 37 beds,

- Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

- Patient ratio is 3:1,

- Alaris pumps are used for patient care,

- Uses the Meditech EMR system,

Job Requirements

- Active CO or Compact RN license required,

- Minimum of 2 years of recent BMT ICU experience,

- ACLS certification required,

- Chemotherapy certification, BMTCN, or OCN preferred,

- No more than 90 days of employment gaps in the past 12 months,

Additional Information

- Primary duties include chemotherapy administration and managing neutropenic fever protocols,

- Must be able to draw blood cultures and administer IV medications,

- Team-oriented environment with 15-16 nurses per shift, supported by charge nurses,

- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are highly valued,
