Location & Salary El Paso, TX (home‑based with up to 2 hours one‑way travel). Full‑time 0.75–1.0 FTE (30–40 hours week). Base salary: $66,000–$71,250 (0.75 FTE); $88,000–$95,000 (1.0 FTE) annually.
Responsibilities The case manager is responsible for the medical case management of work‑related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers and employees, and closely monitors progression of the injured worker, reporting results back to employers and carriers.
Qualifications
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required
Experience in case management of workers’ comp cases strongly preferred
Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) strongly preferred; obtain within 2 years of hire
Strong organizational, timeline adherence, PC and technology, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
Patient education skills
Valid driver’s license with good driving history
