Role Description This is a part-time role with full-time opportunities, for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Northwest, NJ. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat following the DIR model. Daily tasks will include providing specialized therapy, assisting individuals improve foundational skills needed for communication and create personalized treatment plans for children with communication challenges. Collaboration with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies is a key part of this role.
Qualifications
Expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech-related interventions
Knowledge and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating Dysphagia
Ability to work with individuals with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Licensure or certification as required for practicing Speech Language Pathology in New Jersey
Experience in pediatric therapy or working with children is highly preferred
Commitment to compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care delivery
