Are you passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences in New Orleans? Join our team at Lafitte Resorts, where you will work alongside our Guest Services and Management team to be the welcoming face of two distinctive boutique hotels on the edge of the French Quarter. We are patiently searching for a professional, personable, and proactive Guest Services Representative who will set the tone for our visitors' stay from the moment they arrive until they depart with a lifetime of memories. Acting as an ambassador of the Big Easy, you'll help our diverse ecosystem of visitors enjoy the unique charm and vibrant culture that makes New Orleans truly special. Key Responsibilities
Create memorable first impressions by answering incoming reservation calls and questions. Greet and welcome all guests. Manage reservations through both telephone and online booking systems. Confirm guest arrivals via phone or email. Perform room walkthroughs in advance of guest arrivals. Execute a seamless check-in/check-out process, including luggage oversight. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns. Show guests to their room(s). Process credit card and payments; maintain accurate financial records. Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and maintain accurate occupancy records. Handle administrative duties including mail collection and interdepartmental communication. Support overall hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction. Serve as an Ambassador of the Big Easy, acting as a knowledgeable concierge and providing personalized recommendations for dining, attractions, and activities. Qualifications
Previous front desk, concierge, hospitality, and/or customer service experience is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine enthusiasm for guest service. Ability to problem solve and multi-task. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Google applications such as Excel or Sheets. Knowledge of CloudBeds Reservation Management System is a plus. Local and historical knowledge of New Orleans is helpful. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem‑solving skills and a calm demeanor under pressure. Appreciation for historic properties and their unique character. Schedule
3-5 days per week. 20-30 hours per week. Hours may increase after Summer. Afternoon/Evening and Weekend availability is required. Available to work Thursday through Monday; our busiest days. Immediate start available. What We Offer
