We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our pizza restaurant located at 1715 Hwy 78 Suite C in Dora, Alabama. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth workflow
Support the Manager in staff supervision, training, and scheduling
Ensure excellent customer service and address customer concerns promptly
Maintain food quality standards and adherence to health and safety regulations
Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
Participate in menu planning and implementation of promotional activities
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve efficiency
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
Step in for the Manager when necessary and make decisions in their absence
Qualifications
Prior pizza restaurant experience is required
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
Strong problem‑solving abilities and decision‑making skills
Proficiency in basic math and cash handling
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to provide at least 3 credible professional references
Valid driver’s license and dependable car with current insurance
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
