Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare the Company’s consolidated statement of cash flows and related schedules with accuracy and minimal supervision.
Compile and review standalone financial statements and sub-consolidations using OneStream reporting tools.
Support annual audits by preparing schedules, roll‑for‑wards, and financial statement footnotes in compliance with US GAAP.
Record monthly journal entries for intercompany positions and global sponsorship revenue recognition.
Perform reconciliations and consolidating entries for complex intercompany balances and prepare recurring reports.
Requirements
Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels to support internal and external reporting needs.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize workflow and improve period‑end close results.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide suggestions for process improvements and efficiencies.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
4+ years of related work experience, with Big Four public accounting experience highly desirable.
Demonstrate proficiency with financial systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
Maintain solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and US GAAP reporting requirements.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with OneStream or comparable reporting tools.
