What’s The Job? Title: Utility Operator
Location: Eddyville, IA
Salary: up to $22.99 (DOE)
Hours: Shift Schedule
Week 1 – Wed/Thu/Fri 5:30 am‑6 pm
Week 2 – Mon/Tue/Sat/Sun 5:30 am‑6 pm

What Will I Be Doing?
Work with personnel in a team‑oriented and safety‑conscious environment; adhere to PJHA process, Observation process, and all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
Operate equipment such as forklift truck, cart, hand truck, and other material‑handling equipment.
Check, inspect, and document all equipment and product goods for damage and shortages before processing.
Record product name, product number, package type, and number of pounds re‑processed daily.
Report any discrepancies immediately and record them.
Perform accurate administrative duties, including review and documentation of all procedures.
Ensure all products are placed in the correct location.
Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
Communicate with all team members to assist in the development of short- and long‑range planning in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
Meet the physical requirements of the job (information provided prior to employment).
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisor.

Experience: Warehouse experience preferred, not required.

Physical Demands of the Role
The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Control Precision – ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions.
Manual Dexterity – ability to quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time.
Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
Communication/Expression – ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Information Ordering – ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
