Job Summary The Grease Route Driver is responsible for operating a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities for this job at any time.
Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of the container and surrounding area; return सामान with screen and lock secured; note any damages to container or corral area; properly complete route ticket with customer signature.
Responsible for the established route as assigned.
Responsible for company vehicle; keep vehicle in clean condition.
Conduct all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operate vehicle under state/federal/local regulations and in accordance with company policy & procedures; observe all company safety rules.
Attend all safety meetings; may be asked to serve on the Safety Committee.
Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
Responsible for completing all company‑required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean MVR.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a vehicle similar to a grease route truck.
Current CDL holder with proper endorsements.
Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior route experience within a customer‑oriented environment preferred.
Works well with others in a team environment.
Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
Good math and communication skills.
Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands Working Environment
Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments such as high noise level, strong odors, heat and cold.
Exposed to bio‑hazardous conditions.
Exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations.
Exposed to electrical hazards; risk of electrical shock.
Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment.
Travels to off‑site locations.
Physical Demands
Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
Walk: Must be able to move about inside or outside the work location.
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery下注.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to position one's self to maintain computers, including under desks and in the server closet.
Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend or descend a ladder.
Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co‑workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions.
Weight and force demands: Up to 50 pounds. Vision demands: None special requirements; required to have clear vision at 20 inches or less, 20 feet or more, and the ability to distinguish colors, see peripheral and depth perception, and adjust focus.
