Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full‑time, clamp stand‑up forklift operator. Join a team that values safety, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and a supportive work environment.
Salary & Schedule
Hourly pay: $23.00
Shift pay: $3.00 per hour
Schedule: D Shift Thursday–Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am; Wednesday 12:00 am–6:00 am
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Maintain accurate picking and packing; audit, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading.
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
One year or more experience in warehouse and/or powered industrial truck operations (preferred).
Valid forklift operator’s license & certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Team‑player with respect for a diverse workplace.
Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
Initiative, accuracy under pressure, and minimal supervision.
Capacity to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with health and safety methods.
Flexible schedule for various shifts.
